Updates on Covid-19 Policies

Covid-19 Update 4/11/20

Dear Clients and Friends,

Due to the global pandemic of Covid-19/ coronavirus, our office has taken a number of measures to ensure the safety of our clients and staff.

Effective Tuesday, March 24, our office is temporarily closed to all visitors.

Although our office is closed, our attorneys and staff are continuing to work remotely during this time. We will remain available for appointments and consultations by phone until our office resumes regular work hours.

Attorneys and office staff are available by mail, email, phone and fax. Please be advised that during this unusual time, you may receive a call from our office that comes from a different or “unknown” number- this is due to our office staff calling using online applications to place out-going calls. If you have an ongoing case, please also be sure to check your voicemail and email regularly. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

We have made arrangements to check mail that comes to the office. If you need to urgently drop off documents at our office and it is not possible to send them electronically, you may deposit them in the mail-slot in the front door of the office. Please place your documents in a plastic or paper bag before you insert them through the slot so that they do not mix with any other documents. Do not leave cash through the mail slot.

This situation is developing rapidly. Currently, USCIS has cancelled all ASC biometric (fingerprint) appointments, in-person interviews, and naturalization ceremonies until at least May 3, 2020- please be advised that this may be extended. The Department of State has suspended most visa services at the embassies and consulates world-wide until further notice. The Immigration Courts (EOIR) have suspended master calendar hearing for non-detained individuals; currently individual (final) hearings for non-detained individuals are proceeding as scheduled.

We appreciate your patience during this difficult time. Please do not hesitate to contact us with your questions or concerns.
